Mixed Media wall pieces that combine Oil on Canvas, Bark & Wood

I have always been keen on puzzles. Combining different materials and textures together to make them cohesive is a visual and tangible puzzle. I enjoy the journey it brings me on and what I start out with as an idea always morphs along the way. I would say my favorite subjects are chickadees, loons, owls, ravens & bears. Here are a few examples-
